Short Project Description: Organisations can create self-cloud service using IOT coupled with Multi-Step Verification (OTP access, Data Encryption, Shoulder-Surfing Password Protection), thus can customize its cloud environment to meet specific business ideas. Data breaching is prevented. PHP, MySQL database and webpages will be hosted on the website created. The database which shall be encrypted, is created by using values from temperature and humidity sensors using NodeMCU through Arduino (This data set is only for creating a database). We can insert, delete, read and update data in database creating PHP REST API.

    🔥 Your Pitch

    The project submitted basically aims to protect the databases from being accessed by unauthorized users. A web page is created through a hosting site and a database of temperature and humidity conditions, monitored by a NodeMCU and Arduino circuit, is to be protected. To access the data a user has to be registered on the server. He may do so by clicking the registration page link on the home page. The user sets two forms of password, one is the normal alphabetical password, and another is a graphical password. Even if somehow the alphabetic password gets compromised, no one can know about the graphical password. The graphical password also provides shoulder surfing protection. Both can be changed later on by the user himself only. While logging in the user is also sent a one time password (OTP) to the user's registered mobile number. This ensures that no one can access the main database. Encryption provides protection in the server. If somehow the server gets hacked by an unauthorized user, encryption would prevent him to read the data.
