This is not an issue, rather additional Information. Maybe its somehow interesting for you, @skiselev. The same guys who made Book8088 now created Pocket8086 Notebook. Same Form-factor with some changes.

Shan Zhongyu, the actual author/designer of Book 8088 and related systems, contacted me back in December last year, so I kind of knew that this system is coming. According to him, he uses an XT BIOS on it, and we are discussing shipping 8088 BIOS with it. I might need to make some modifications to specifically support Pocket8086.

It appears that the Pocket8086 project is mostly open source, which is exciting.

I also hope to see your bios available for the pocket8086. Interesting compact retro hardware mix, having the options enabling floppy cards, disabling memory check would be convenient.
