Add "real-time" option #147

It would be great to have the option to skip some of the longer pauses when desired.

I imagine this as an option ("real-time" check-box in the per-aircraft and/or global setting), and/or as a command ref (equivalent to "end current animation; skip to next sequence").

By default, "real-time" would always be checked (i.e., for the current functionality).

But if the user un-checks "real-time", it would have the following effect:

*I realize it might be too jarring to have the movement of the plane into the fully raised and forward position needed by the tug go too quickly or instantly; so it may not be possible to speed this part up.

The equivalent command to "skip" the current animation would be a single command that just accelerates or skips to the next required step in the above flow if the user presses it during an appropriate transition animation.

Anyway, the idea is that -- while the bulk of the push-back functionality here is amazingly great (!!) -- there are times when the actual time required to do a full push-back sequence in the simulator is too long, and users may benefit from being able to abbreviate the longer animations that add realism but slow down the procedure.

Just a thought. If it's not something that would fit into the current model, feel free to decline this. Thanks.

I had a similar feeling when doing a pushback. But for me, what I have learnt now, is by the time, I am done with FMC setup, I setup my pushback, and call it. This way, I am all ready to go, when starting to pushback. And I felt that this would also be true in real life. Just my 2 cents, that might help you till you have your desired feature.

Understood -- but for me, the common scenario is I'm doing circuits and I want to start at the gate each time, but I have everything pretty much set up and just re-doing each time. I want the whole experience and like having the pushback being fully automated, but in some situations, I find myself just waiting for the tug driver to connect/disconnect which is great and realistic, and I still want simulated, but can be laboriously long (just like real life, I know!). Thanks.

It's not a bad idea to add a "quick run" option. Will work on this.
