Well I got BPB to build, but haven’t had any time to investigate the issue, FWIW.
Same for me with all aircrafts (FF A350, Jar A320, Jar A330, FF B777 and Zibo B737-800). The first Start Pushback will be answered with "Failure, no suitable tug"
But when i am not restarting X-Plane and do another flight, the first try works. This failure happens only for the first flight after starting X-Plane

I have the exact same issue. Will provide log after I return from traveling on Sunday. I’m also on Mac but running latest High Sierra.
I am having the same issue. I am also running high Sierra and the latest zibo mod. I have not tried with other planes yet?
I think it is independent on the macOS version. I use Sierra on my iMac
My question is, does this only happens on macOS X-Plane 11 versions and is there a workaround (except of plan the pushback again)?
Same problem here Mac High Sierra using. firts flight, second flight v0.46 Is there in the meantime a solution or fix available?
WARNING: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL BUILD

mac.xpl goes to X-Plane/Resources/plugins/BetterPushback/64/mac.xpl (replace the existing one), then reload plugins (or preferably relaunch X-Plane)
Anyone care to test my fix?
I tried your fix yesterday several times. Great, it works like a charme.

Hi Rodeo314. This has been a problem for me too (running Mac on high Sierra). Your modified file has certainly fixed the problem for me. Many thanks!
The fixed file doesn't appear to be available in dropbox anymore, can you post it again? Thanks!
@skiselkov should eventually provide an updated build 😛
@Rodeo314 @gentfam @Jethro1000 @Pilotwillem Could any of you repost this fixed file either to Dropbox or here? Thanks...
@Rodeo314 If you don't want to post the file again, could you maybe at least give me a hint on how you fixed the Mac build, then I can try and see if I can fix it and build it myself? Really would love to be using BP on my Mac.
Will upload the file this evening (when i am back at home) and attach the link
You just need to build BP against the latest version of libacfutils, the fix was merged already. Or keep making noise until poor toto finally releases an update. On Mon, 12 Mar 2018 at 10:16, Jethro1000 notifications@github.com wrote:

Building it now, should have a release ready in an hour or so.
Big thanks
Release 0.47 is available, please grab it and give it a try.
@skiselkov downloaded, tested and donated. Works perfect.
Thanks
Glad it helped!
Perfect, works great. Also donated.
Thanks!
Happens most often the IXEG 737 Classic, but I've had it in the 757 and 767 as well. Seems possibly related to #34
Log.txt
Calling it repeatedly seems to work, but that's annoying regardless.
At the very least, there should be a different spoken error message when BPP fails to load sound files ;)
