Settings won't save #473

As the title says! Latest xplane 12 beta, as of todays date. Latest v52 of Better Pushback.

Same issue here. When I copy the config file from X-Plane 11 to the X-Plane 12 / Output / preferences folder the settings will be accepted. If I hit the save button, the file will be overwritten and is completely empty.

All we need is the xplane 11 settings file and then we can change them ourselves and move the file to xplane 12. Hopefully a fix to this issue will be in a future update.

Ok so the settings are your settings. As soon as you overwrite them and save them in xplane 12 it deletes the contents of the cfg file. I wonder how you can get round this and apply your own settings? How can you update the cfg file and then maybe apply it to xplane 12?

When using the cfg file supplied I get "error initialising audio messages, plz reinstall better pushback" looks like BP is a no go. You cant use the settings supplied here unfortunately and when you update them in xplane 12 and save it wipes the cfg file clean. The author needs to fix this!!!! Until he does we are stuck. Unless someone knows how to manipulate the cfg file?

The answer until there is a fix, is update settings in xplane 12 and then close the window without saving. This works but you have to do it each load of xplane 12. Or just leave settings at default.
