[FR] Do not make useBatch global #288

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
## Summary

The current implementation of batch requests currently rely on a global
UseBatch flag:

  $client->setUseBatch(true);

  $batch = new Google_BatchRequest();
  $batch->add($plus->people->get('me'), 'key1');
  $batch->add($plus->people->get('me'), 'key2');
  $result = $batch->execute();

This means that using the same client to send batch and non-batch request
requires resetting the flag in-between each calls.

## Feature request

Provide another design that do not require a global flag or provide a way to
execute the non-batch request nonetheless:

  $client->setUseBatch(true);
  $result = $plus->people->get('me')->execute();
