More ever I successfully can quick add events on my calendar by:

...
$createdEvent = $cal->events->quickAdd($calander_work_id, $quick_add);
...

but the insert add new event wont work with fatal error:
...
$event = new Google_Event();
$event->setSummary($event_title);
$event->setLocation($event_address);
$event->setDescription($event_description);
$start = new Google_EventDateTime();
$start->setDateTime(date('Y-m-d'));
$event->setStart($start);
$end = new Google_EventDateTime();
$end->setDateTime(date('Y-m-d'));
$event->setEnd($en
$createdEvent = $cal->events->insert($calander_work_id, $event);  
....
