Guide doesn't account for DE instruments with two curvature values #70

Open mwmalinowski opened 10 years ago

Double Ended instruments sometimes have two Curvature values.

e.g. Farabeuf Raspatory 40-9075 has one Straight end and one Curved end. Typically I've been writing "Straight / Curved" in cases like this.

This ties into #71

I will add to Curvature

Should I also add to Tip End Style (B)?

sklar-sherryp commented 10 years ago

Double Ended instruments will always have 2 Curvature values though, correct? Simply because they are double ended. It's just that one may be Straight. Correct?

Also, are we saying "Double Ended" or "Double-Ended"

mwmalinowski commented 10 years ago

We've been saying Double Ended but I think choosing non-hyphenated was largely (if not entirely) arbitrary.

mwmalinowski commented 10 years ago

The guide lists that double ended instruments will have two curvature values. The guide needs to also indicate how to include two curvature values in a single field.

Should we be following the "Left-Handed" decision (Issue #51) and use "Double-Ended" (with hyphen)?
