Resident Evil: Code Veronica random crash #70

Version: Lastest git version Devices: 1.2ghz Dualcore Snapdragon Adreno 203 and Exynos 4 Quad 4412(Galaxy S3)

result = Often Sudden Return to Emu's Game Browser. I played about 5-15mins, then it goes back to emu menu all of sudden. Tried many times, the results were similar.

cfg Dynarec.Enabled=1 Dynarec.unstable-opt=0

I also tried the x86 version reicast(built by myself). it seems much more stable than the arm version.

Are you sure it isn't the game? Something similar happens when you select a character in the Japanese LE version of Dead or Alive 2.

Sadly, that happens in almost any application that loads files. It usually occurs during the list generation.

@globe94 , you are correct. There should be some memory leaks in the emu. @LoungeKatt , I tried x86 version reicast with RECV. It only uses around 100M mem when the game starts. after 15 mins play, the mem usage is over 1G.

Just wanted to update some info upon this matter my device is note 3 snapdragon qualcomm 800 the game discussed here causes the emu to crash and return to the main menu after a 10-15 minute of play at random places in the game I managed to make some progress ingame by saving often so the crashes are not a rom fault also I tried it in both custom TW rom 4.4.2 and an aokp or aosp based rom 4.4.2. I don't remember exactly which one so it's not a rom fault either it could be a chipset issue (qualcomm) but I didn't had the opportunity to test the game on another phone. I really hope this issue gets fixed in the near feature any comments follow ups or recommendations upon my update are really appreciated.

I don't think it needs testing mate have played the entire game with no crashes it was an early build problem i guess(it used to crash on me after ten fifteen minutes) but if you really want to i guess i could. In this case can you send me a link of the latest build you want me to test?

Alright tested on two devices Samsung Galaxy S7 edge exynos and nexus 6p no random reboots this time around but very buggy. Frames stuttering, sound effects like rain stopping and restarting like on a loop, on the menu many settings were not adjustable like they were in the past and the opening movie scene was stuttering like hell. I didn't know which issues were caused by framedrop and which weren't i could not check fps on screen. On s7 edge there was less framedrop obviously but almost all issues were there too. Had no crashes. I've probably been playing for like 40 minutes. I was at were you have to leave all metal items you have to be able to move forward or the gates would close (idk how to better explain this, it's at the beginning of the game.). Then I got a call and afterwards it was back at the game selection screen (but that's what happens if you leave the emulator). It's the USA version btw.
