Cannot install iPhoneList or run standalone version

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download and save locally iPhoneList.0.9.8.85.Setup.exe
2. Run the downloaded file
3. Error occurs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Application should install
Current output: Error message saying "An error occurred attempting to 
install iPhoneList". Details mention:

The following error occurred attempting to 
install 'C:\Users\pepe\Desktop\iPhoneList.application':
"El sistema no puede encontrar el archivo especificado. "
(the system cannot find the specified file)

See the setup log file located 
at 'C:\Users\pepe\AppData\Local\Temp\VSDD93F.tmp\install.log' for more 
information.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest (0.9.8.85) on Windows Vista SP1 in Spanish.

Please provide any additional information below.
I do not have iTunes installed. Do I need to install iTunes? 
I don't really want to install iTunes if I can avoid it. 

The standalone version doesn't work either. I double click the 
iPhoneList.exe file and I just get an error message saying "iPhoneList 
stopped working" without any other info.

Finally, could you provide a help file with more information on 
installation?

I'm having this same issue. This issue looks old, and hasn't received any 
response, so perhaps there's some new info in below-

Tried launching iPhoneList.0.9.8.85.Setup.exe from a local drive, get "An error 
occurred attempting to install iPhoneList". Clicking Details>> shows:

Can't install via Setup.

Downloaded iPhoneList.0.9.8.85.Standalone.exe, extracted locally.
Tried launching iPhoneList.exe from standalone package. Got "iPhoneList has 
stopped working... Windows can check online for a solution to the problem".
Clicking View problem details>> shows
