Password change and Enyaq no longer available in MySkoda Essential and HA

I changed my password to check that it forced a logout from the android myskoda app. Then I changed the password back again. (password reset - link sent to email to enter a new one)

Now only my Kodiaq is visible but not the Enyaq in HA

• I've tried disabling both devices and waited an hour (force refresh of tokens)
• I've logged out of the MySkoda android app and back in with the original password and verified that both cars are still there
• In MySkoda Essentials only the Kodiaq is visible

So my conclusion is that i'm now in the same boat as new Enyaq users and the password reset forced my over to the new api only ....

So if you still have the Enyaq device/entities don't change you password ....

Any ides for something to try out ?

The litmus test seems to be whether the old app (MySkoda Essentials) still works. If you don't have the car there you won't have it in the HA integration either.

I've checked MySkoda Essential again and this time the Enyaq was back again - behind a pop up disclaimer to get the new app....

It is literally hours since i changed the password back and forth.

I'll try to enable it again in HA

But again - if you have it working. Don't change a thing .... Not even the password ....

Can take a closer look if you provide the full debug logs after configuring the integration.

Trying to add it again does show both VIN (cut short in the sceenshot on purpose)

Disabled the Kodiaq again, added the debug options and restarted HA.

Enabled the Enyaq, prompted to restart again, edit the configuration and saved it.

To me it looks like it tris to reuse an expired token: Restored token for client "connect", valid until 2025-03-09 11:43:59

I removed the option to "Save session tokens in configuration" and that did the trick :-) i.e forcing it to use the login information instead of the stored token (that was invalidated due to the change of password)

All good again now
