Crimson font gives 'double-spaced' appearance in various applications on OS X. #45

System is OS X 10.11.1.

Installed OTF files generated from revision 15da94b.

There is a fair bit of extra vertical space above/below each character, lending it to look like the line spacing is set to double-spaced.This appears in a number of different applications and does not happen with similar fonts, like Minion.

Thanks for the bug report! Not sure what to tell you off the top of my head, sorry @Spamtrap ... vertical metrics have been a problem before, then @rainerschuhsler and @adrientetar worked some magic and it looked like everything was fixed, then @katef found some more issues and made a few changes ... so tracking down the exact cause isn't straightforward I'm afraid. Also, I don't have a Mac :(

Can you provide screenshots and/or list which applications are affected?

I don't think screenshots would add much of value :)

I suppose there's some value which is used by MacOS's rendering, but not by others.

I'm working on having the build automated (after #29 is done), so it'll be easier to see that everybody is using the same files. I think testing isn't reliable enough until then.
