Hi everyone and forgive me in advance for my very possible simple mindedness.
-I want to use red5phone for a project (click 2 call from a webpage)
-I installed openfire
-I installed the redfire plugin
-I went to the redire test page
-then I saw the red5phone, I entered the following info in the phone UI:
phone number: left blank
username:1000 (I have a sip account 1000 defined in my asterisk)
password: left blank, the sip accoount 1000 has no pwd
conferenc: left blank
sip realm: asterisk
sip server: 192.168.1.200 (my asterisk box)
ob proxy: 192.168.1.200 (my asterisk box)
red5 url: rtmp://192.168.1.201/sip (also tried the default value)
-then I clicked connect and I received a "connection success" message
-after this I did a sip show peers in my asterisk CLI expecting to see a
registered peer, which I did not see. I also enabled sip debugging to see if
something was sent by the red5 server to my asterisk, and I could not see
anything.
-I think I may be misunderstanding something here, shouldnt the redfire plugin
register to the asterisk specified in the phones parameters?
