I am so glad you are working on this code again. Last week I purchased parts to build my wire cutter and have been looking for a controller. I do have a LinuxCNC computer I can set up for this but it takes up too much space so I was looking for an Arduino solution.
So, I have modified my Gcode generator at http://swarfer.co.za/rc/wire/index.php to generate a 'both' file that will cut both wings with the big end at the XY end.
Maybe someone with working hardware can test it?
anther thing, I set up to compile your code with Arduino IDE, do you want a pull request for the code?
