Cleaning existing tech. #68

Summary

I cleaned previously existing tech for the branch version 2.0. Then I created my own branch under v2/ and now thiw will merge onto the clean branch of v2.

Makes sense. However, v2.0 is not complete yet. Thanks for raising this.
