Animania adds a lot more breeds of cows, chickens, and pigs which is pretty cool, but things like the chronotyper and breeder dont work properly on them since it makes changes to how they breed and age.
The breeder feeds the animals wheat and carrots, but the breeding in Animania only requires that the animals be well fed and hydrated. This means they can always be fed which causes the breeder to just feed them all the food in its given inventory.
The chronotyper detects the child versions of the animals but it reads them as adults. So setting it to pull children does nothing.
The rancher doesnt seem to be able to milk the cows either. The mod does add a separate type of milk for two of the cow breeds, but some of them still produce the vanilla version. However neither work with it.
A workaround for now is to set Animania to spawn the vanilla versions of the animals along with its own, but it would be cool to see it be supported down the line.
