It looks like the GSO approach on rock type classification, particularly its adherence to recording original reference sources, will serve our needs better than the previous attempt at pulling Mindat records. We need to work through the GSO rock material module to determine what we already know about via Mindat (I did some work on finding ID matches), add in the W3ID permanent URLs from the GSO, add new items from the GSO, align with the GSO hierarchy, and figure out what to do with anything left over from the previous Mindat work.
