I've done this work before, but I need to formalize how all items representing articles/reports/documents that we have already piped to xDD have their _gddid values in claims for reference and use. The GeoKB may end up being the first place these connections show up visibly for use for some collections.

I'm working through this now in a process managed via an internal USGS project. The xDD API has a query capability in the articles route for the sha1 checksum. I'm using this as I move documents to another repository to either verify that I have the correct gddid value or work up a process to push some new documents.
