We want to be able to provide a programmable and customizable reference point for the terms that DataCite uses in describing relationshipType between a DOI/IGSN and another entity. Some of these concepts are already present in the GeoKB while others will be created. We may need to provide specific context on some properties indicating how it can be used in different circumstances (e.g., physical vs. digital object), or this may simply be accommodated in property discussion content.
Along with getting the properties in place, I need to start doing some work on the property aspect of the GeoKB ontology such as declaring instance of claims on properties to help organize them for use. For instance, here we will need to query for all properties that DataCite uses in its controlled vocabulary of relationshipType terms so that the list can be pulled up as a reference for validation.
