I did some work previously on the Cherokee Nation, showing the legislative council districts in relation to Tahlequah, leveraging an overview map of the Cherokee Nation reservation boundary vs. the state of Oklahoma. I need to revisit this at that level and then a larger scale for other Indigenous Nations. It might be interesting to show present day reservation boundaries in context to historic homelands and cessions.
