Support for PR-001 #3

This is more of a question/feature request as opposed to an issue. I don't have the ET-73 probe, I have an ET-732 probe, or the PR-001. While I get readings using your solution, they are all in the 200 degree range. I know this is simply due to the resistors being used. I was wondering if you could help me understand how you selected the 22k resistor / formula values for the ET-73 so I could possible figure out those values for the ET-73 and other probes.

Thanks

Hi katlrissland, I am using this design and it has worked out nicely for me.  The only thing that has drove me insane is the 2.5mm connection type.  I have gotten good temperature readings using the schematics provided. Unfortunately my first arduino project is very complicated.  I am using the Maverick probes as part of my overall design.   I am going to order 2.5mm male to 3.5mm female (more standard) and check the reading.   @skyperry1, I cannot thank you enough for your code and design.  I integrated the Nextion tft touch screen, relays for the 24 vac transformer to power the propane robertshaw standing pilot for my smokehouse.  I am planning on sharing all of it when I am ready. I look forward to hearing any news about your temp readings.  It has been a while since I looked at this.  When I get home next week I will check my design to see if I tweeked my grounds.  Something tells me I did. hi skyeperry1,

After replying to the question regading the maverick probes, I started doing a lot of testing and am getting a ton of variances in temperature readings. In 4 seconds I am seeing the temps jumping 7-10 degrees in 4 seconds, back and forth. I have not done a lot of testing but it always seemed to be ok. I started tracing this back to find out what is going on.

I changed my relay module from a big one with 8 slots to one with 2. I also hooked up my 24vac transformer. It wasn't the transformer as I turned the 110v power off to the relay and still the same problem. I unplugged the 5v vcc to the relay and all the temperatures were reading just fine.

There is some type of interference on my breadboard. To narrow it down, I plugged the relay directly into the arduino board and it worked fine.
