Thanks for the note, yes, I agree that visibility is an important additional calculation! If you have a moment, open an Issue to track it.

I suspect we'll want visibility to be a separate computation, that takes the output of the plain "passes" routine as input, and filters those passes down to the periods during which the satellite is illuminated.
