A new option to reproduce the bug:
1. Install 2.9.1rc2
2. Install an older (stable) version of HC++, like 2.8.2
3. Restart Firefox
-> Output: Fiefox crashes
But luckily, when it restarts, 2.8.2 is back, and this bug ceases.

Pardon me, the latest stable version should be 2.8.9, not 2.8.2.

Hi!
I've tested WaterFox 35 under Windows7_64 and couldn't get any crash or
mis-behave.
I've done all 3 tests you mentioned several times, including with 12 windows
opened, closed several of them and other mixed tests like closing some windows,
and right there disabling/enabling several times and then upgrading/downgrading
from 2.8.9 (with restarts)
Could you confirm please if this issue happens also with Mozilla's-Firefox
itself under OSX?
Tks!

Hi there,
Pardon me for late response. Today I got the chance to use Firefox (rather than
Waterfox) and wanted to test with 2.9.1rc2. Unfortunately the newer releases
available on Mozilla Add-ons site (2.9.2rc~2.9.4rc) now shows "incompatible
with this platform" (I'm still on OS X). Perhaps I have missed the high time :-D
I'll still be here with HC++
Cheers!

You can do:
1) On Mozilla site you can right-click and "Save As" as a file and then install
ir from the file, or maybe you can try again and when you get the warning,
there used to be the option "install it anyway", bc these versions have the
same backend as the unofficial version you tried before.
2) You can simply try again the latest unofficial version here:
http://tiny.cc/darth_moz go to HCTP > New > Old
Tks for trying!

Hi there,
I just tested with 2.9.1rc2 plus Firefox plus Mac OS X plus:
1. My main profile (60+ addons enabled): crashes when window closed/Firefox
restarts
2. My main profile but all addons disabled: same
3. a whole new profile: same
Therefore I speculate this as an incompatibility of Mac OS X with 2.9.1rc2+.
Hope this helps :)
