Use openflightmaps datas #559

Pros:

Theses data are in Aeronautical Information Exchange Model, the format used by Eurocontrol.
Each ammendments and changes are committed in the database, unlike current .CUP files.
The project is owned by an association, unlike OpenAIP that is owned by a company.

Datas are available in OpenAir, CUP and several formats: i.e. https://openflightmaps.org/live/ed-germany/

Cons:

Currently, few regions (ED, EK, LH, LJ, LO, LR)

how does that help us? how do you want to integrate that with skylines?

It will provide more reliable datas 😄

The parser will be more robust.
See openflightmaps/ofm2arinc, a node.js converter.

More on OFM:

We could import these data in PostGis, in native or "legacy" formats

We could also just add a new layer on the map
e.g. http://openflightmaps.org/testumgebung/ek-denmark/

The conversion from AIXM to legacy format (OPENAIR, CUP) is already done by the OFM project.

to cut down on the number of open issues on this project we are introducing a feature request queue: https://github.com/skylines-project/skylines/issues?q=label%3Afeature-request+is%3Aclosed+sort%3Areactions-%2B1+. we will close feature requests immediately and label them with "feature-request" so that they will show up in the queue, which is sorted by 👍 reactions. since this issue is also a feature request we have labeled it appropriately and will close it now.
