Compatibility Problem? #3

My laptop is using Win 7 Ultimate
System type is 64 bit OS

When I finish the installation, it seems the program didn't work, I'd waited
for hours but nothing happen, when I checked through task manager, in the
process tab, I noticed there were an app name "pythonw.exe" appeared and then
vanished in very short time whenever I tried to open VNR.

for the annot-player, it prompted me: "the program didn't start because
MSVCP100.dll is missing from my computer, try reinstalling the program to fix
the problem"

I tried to erased and reinstall VNR (run it as administrator), but it all the
same result as above.

I wonder if there is any other problem about compatibility between OS version
and how to fix it?

I had the same problem... At first it was all good and it started pretty well
(although the Starry Sky After Spring icon didn't show up in the Spring Board).
But after I exited it and try to open it again, nothing happens, I waited for
several minutes and still nothing shows up. What should I do? Please help... >.<

Same thing here. I'm on 64bit Win 7 Home Edition laptop, problem has been
persisting with any newer release for a while now. I transfered an older
version from my desktop and that seem to work without problems, as long as I
don't update.

Also, here's what the reader-debug has to say about this.

I seem to have a problem with the same issues. I started VNreader and after the
hourglass disappeared (within 2-3secs), the only things that change are the
mouse's icons. I have updated and I'm running on Win Ultimate x64, Finnish
language pack, just like the previous poster, #3.

The not starting -problem means that the SpringBoard does not appear at all.
Even after waiting.

first time i startet VNR all thats happened was that the mouse turned to a blue
triangle.
it only went away after i restarted my PC.

after the restart not even that happens anymore if i try to start VNR ( no
hourglass, no blue triangle, no springbord... i cant even see a process being
started :? )

and as far as i can see no debug file is generated ether :(

im on win 8 by the way
