Leaflet 1.8.0 could not be built #294

I can confirm. I get the same error and have to revert to using unpkg:

https://unpkg.com/leaflet/dist/leaflet-src.esm.js

Given the popularity of leaflet, I'd say we should up the priority of this issue.

This is working for more recent versions of Leaflet, e.g. https://cdn.skypack.dev/leaflet@1.9.1 ... so even though it's still an issue for v1.8.0, I think this issue can probably be closed.
