First order of bizz, no story
I was thinking the legend of zelda clone with one dungeon with at max 5 screens and only one or maybe two types of enemies. Any time you think of adding more stuff just think "We have less than 2 weeks to do this".
That being said I think we need graphics of some kind so do you guys want to make our own zelda style graphics because if so Piskel is an awesome pixel art maker and I'm so down for making a few sprites in 16 bit graphics.
Lets divide up portions of the assignment between us. Ben = Player code, sprite art (all 16 px, fireball, player sprite, gremlin monster, boss? (32 bit, 4 tiles)) Stuart = Tile art collisions, wall collision, puzzle Duncan = Enemy code, (Map construction, general design) Enemy count = TBD, Boss?
I am personally thinking in the direction of Phantom hourglass, watch a playthrough of the temple of fire.
I have started a class diagram for how I think we can organize it.
