RSS Import limits #25

Daily, weekly, all time.

That's a good place even to require people to pay to be able to import more than 10 RSS items per day.

Also if you look at it from a broader perspective..advanced limiting functionality would also come in handy if it would be something like a Instagram or Flickr feed. Or a YouTube video import. Basically advanced controls and a friendly message to the user (You have reached your maximum amount of new imports a day). You could allow different limits based on member type as a possible extra premium feature :-)

Yeah, agree with you. I/we will need to think about this when the time will come. But premium extension for a premium extension is something interesting to consider and investigate :)

haha I meant it more like this premium extension "Advanced Limits" would allow several options related to import frequency and amount and would detect if a site has Member Types registered and then allows the admin to configure the options per member type.. So it would all be part of the same premium extension :-)
