I don't know what this is supposed to mean.

I mean between 2009 and 2013 I would expect some 10 releases in maven central
and always-current-daily-snapshots in sonatype maven repository every day,
NOT once-in-a-blue-moon-after-much-begging kind of pattern :-)
look how many clones people do because of this:

cheers.

I would expect that too had anybody been working on it. Caliper had been
unstaffed for most of that time. Now there is 1 engineer (me) working on it
and it shouldn't be an issue moving forward.
I have noticed that there's not actually an issue to track for 1.0, so this
might as well be it.

great! thank you. do you have a v 1.0 deadline?

Definitely by the end of the quarter, but really we're aiming for "as fast as
possible". Hopefully a week or two. It's being tested internally now. There
are a couple of performance issues being ironed out in the webapp. Once those
are resolved, we should be good to go.

Get ready, because all the code Greg's been writing for the last 6 months is
going to show up in googlecode soon, and everything is going to be very
different for caliper from that point on. We're finally going to become like a
real project instead of this thing that appears unloved from the outside!

caliper 1.0-beta-1 has been tagged, but we have some silly logistics issues
with getting it pushed to maven. :-( if you're willing to check it out and
build it, it's ready.

Are you still having issues with pushing it to maven? If it has to do with
signing I might be able to help you.

Is there any documentation on the differences between 0.5rc and 1.0, or a quick
start guide?

Unfortunately, we're blocked on permissions settings in the OSS Nexus. Nobody
seems to be able to deploy to the com.google.caliper groupId. We have an email
out to Sonatype to get this resolved and they're aware of the problem, but I
haven't heard an ETA on resolving it.

I completely forgot to update this issue. Sorry. Caliper 1.0-beta-1 is
available in Maven central.
