Hello!
I'm using Slackware on an old 32-bit laptop and would LOVE to have gnome 3 on it. However,
compiling it is a bit time and disk space demanding. Do you plan to have binary packages ready for download or installable via slackpkg+ for example?
I tested gnome 3 on my i686 ... too slow, I would not do that if I were you, you're going to waste time, both compiling and using. Use MATE or wait for me to finish gnome 2 branch :)
