Add Z-location as property #179

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The Z-location is confusingly called sum_l. It would be nice to alias sum_l to z_location or something similar.

Needs to be done for all devices.

Consider adding xy position too? i.e. would it be confusing if two elements have the same z?
