Some things that I'd like to change in the near future

[x] allow customization inside scripts (service name, config file)
[ ] somehow ensure that pip is available
[ ] add a system group and directory permissions
[ ] allow programs, and groups generation inside include_confdir (i.e. pillar -> supervisor.lookup.include_confdir)
[ ] document installation, usage and pillar configuration

Any reason this isn't in the saltstack formulas repo? It would be really useful with the graphite-formula.

One reason is that this formula is kind of half done as you can see in this issue ;). The other is that I've never pinged anyone responsible for managing saltstack-formulas account... yet.
