I've noticed the recent surge of compatibility issues here. Maybe it'd be better to provide slap

• As a docker image, tied to lts
• packaged as a binary with a https://github.com/nexe/nexe

Or

https://github.com/zeit/pkg

Otherwise, I guess the contact struggle with version in might lead to more issues.
