What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start up WBC (0.7.0.9)
2.Navigate down to hypothalamus and thalamus (see image attached)
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see those regions checked. They are visible in the scene.
Instead, they aren't checked.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Before closing this issue, I wanted to hear some input on the approach I used
since
we may disagree on it being the most conventional.

For those brain regions that have children (e.g. thalamus, hypothalamus,
cerebrum), I
have created a clone Node of the parent for that hierarchy(e.g. thalamus,
hypothalamus) and added it to the hierarchy list as a child. For example when
expanding the thalamus hierarchy, a node with the name Thalamus will appear
along
with all the other brain regions corresponding to the thalamus (as it did
before).

I have attached a picture of this in action
