Volumes cannot be disabled #486

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable volume rendering (from VIEW menu)
2. Try to uncheck the volume 
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
because the volume rendering C++ code allocates memory that cannot be freed,
on the client user side, we do not allow them to disable volumes
