Right click in order to make item invisible does not work at close zoom

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. choose full brain atlas
2.zoom into the brain
3.right click- white dot appears, no menu to make the item invisible

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
menu to make the item invisible. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.7.7.6

Please provide any additional information below.
using a developer's build, the stable build returns a precaching error.
