No content loading progress bar in latest svn code #519

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run WBC version 0.7.7.8 or latest SVN code as of July 27 , 2010. 
2. Make any data type (e.g. all cells, slides ...) visible through tree.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Objects are loaded, but no loading bar is shown to display progress of 
operation.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Progress is being reported in latest we-version, however it could stand for 
improvement, using a progress bar instead of 3D text

Closing a whole raft of issues because they are not relevant to the web version 
any more
