Check the definition of pressure levels sets in level_definitions() in libtrac.c.

Describe the solution you'd like

Add additional pressure levels between 1013.25 and 1044 hPa to achieve finer grid spacing. This might be critical for proper calculation of meteo variable that depend on the near-surface data (e.g. CAPE or PBL).
Compare selected level with previous definition used for CDO ml2pl operator to convert ECMWF data from model levels to pressure levels.

I now have added options with finer grid levels at lower levels as well as options as defined above.
