Figure introduction/explanation #22

Usually its good to guide the reader through the figures in the text. E.g. after explaining the equation one can say: an exemplary plot is givne in Figure \ref{figurelabel}.

If you use a specific dataset in the figures, it is helpful for the reader to know what that dataset is about. I think it would best be introduced in the main text as well.

Some captions could be longer (e.g. Figure 2.6).

Also it could be helpful to explain what exactly the figures show (what do the ticks mean? what does the read line mean? etc)
