current problem: a) how exercises are orgamized is pretty much under documented b) the current system (using RNW files, having one file per exercise) is overly complicated and bullshit.

this is what we need

one file per exercise sheet, not one file per exercise
format = tex, not RNW
a nice preamble, tex
a sheet is written like slides (simply without beamer), pics are included as in slides, with rsrc folder

for solutions:

one file NOW per exercise
if it is math, we simply use tex (and likely include the same preamble)
if it is code, we either do an R or RMD file. for RMDs we also gen the PDF
python solutions go in separate files
