It doesn't log normally without a using a specially compiled debug build.
Any big errors would go to stdout or stderr.

I am having trouble locating the error logs for Slic3r. The program is currently installed on a Raspberry Pi and is run from the command line. The slicing for a specific file is failing and I would like to read the output for what the issue is, but I cannot seem to find the logs. When slicing this same file in the GUI on Windows, it slices without issue. Does anyone know the location of the log files?
