Export to gcode hangs at "Processing Triangulated Mesh" #871

This model https://raw.github.com/dhoff1985/3dprinting-issues/master/knob-gear5.stl pauses seemingly indefinitely on "Processing Triangulated Mesh"

If I tweak the location of the screw holes on the bottom of the gear by 45 degrees the model slices in 6 seconds.

That file is invalid: open it in Netfabb and it will show that it needs repair.
