Consider using a linter and a formatter to align the code with standards.

This should be good enough with commit ad404a4a9ab3247e8d0eb9f902551dfcd921cb33.

I'll leave this here for a while in case any changes are needed...

Added tasks and pre-commit for all of this. v0.1.0 release should have everything in place.
