I found the original instructions missing a few steps.
Also improved udev detection in: https://github.com/brendanhoran/xr_usb_serial_common/pull/2
It may be better to migrate these instructions to https://github.com/brendanhoran/xr_usb_serial_common/tree/master/udev_rules to avoid any duplication.
