Hi,

With an Microsoft employee in the group, is it fair to say that Microsoft is making/using this and other ML Julia packages, and dare I say promoting? I'm intrigued by this package, and others related, while they seem rather specialized.

At least they seem to be with https://github.com/microsoft/AzureClusterlessHPC.jl that's useful for, while more of infrastructure code (and also https://github.com/microsoft/OpticSim.jl so at least users of Julia if not promoting for ML). IBM seems to be the most known company to make Julia ML packages.

InvertibleNetworks.jl is a research project developed and maintained by the Georgia Institute of Technology. Phillipp Witte contributed to this project when he was a graduate student before he joined Microsoft Research for Industry. I hope this clarifies.

Hi Pall, To add to Felix' comment: This package is not a Microsoft Open Source package to which I am contributing in my spare time. The other package you mentioned (AzureClusterlessHPC.jl), of which I am the main developer is released by Microsoft as an open source package and is a research project from our group (Microsoft Research for Industry). Please see also our Open Source website for more information: https://opensource.microsoft.com/. Best regards, Philipp
