1) In case of a Static vector layers the content of the provided zip (the files which compose the shapefile) must be renamed as the layername which the user specified at step 2.
Another (optional) check that could be useful is an alert that notify to the admin that a layer with the provided name already exist and that it will be overridden (Schema checks?)
2) In case of a Static raster layer ...Nothing special to describe here
3) In case of a Timeseries layers, both raster and vector, the input package must be created (see SLSM documentation for it)
