Old Data in Recorded Programs

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. View recorded shows
2. old/fake records of old shows are listed, (when selected location is 
not found)
3. mythtv-frontend don't list these old/fake shows

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The List of recorded programs is listing old delected programs, which i've 
comfirmed delected with the mythtv-frontend, and mythWeb interfaces.  Also 
XBMC "native mythtv-frontend" doesn't display this old del content

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Build 1260; running on [ubuntu 9.04 and xbmc up to data as off 10/12/2009] 
mythtv-backend is 0.21 from the res.  "Stock setup"

Please provide any additional information below.

When i try and del these old/fake shows they just come back.  I waited a 
number of days but the records are still there.

Use the 'Repair Tables' and 'Extended Check' buttons in MythWeb->Settings to 
verify
your database is not corrupt. Do you still see the old/fake shows after doing 
this?

repair tables and extended check didn't help. remember the myth-frontend shows 
the
info correctly.

i'm no expert with mythtv; Q: does the mythtv DB hold records of every "recorded
showing" ever?  and if it does, is mythbox mysql lookup not filtering the old
"deleted shows" that is, shows where this video file has been removed.  

Also, another thing (maybe the same problem?) i expanded my HD recording space 
and
added a new recording dir for mythtv-backend.  To balance out the load i copied 
a
number od video files to the new space.  Mythtv-frontend can still find the 
files
location, but mythbox, can show a "snap shot" of the recording, but can't play 
it, as
it's link is wrong?

i'm going to need a log file to look into it further. on the other issue, it 
probably
can't play it because the new recording dir wasn't added to
MythBox->Settings->MythTV->Recording Dirs (assuming you've already mounted the 
new
recording dir(s) on the frontend machine).

okay, for some reason when i 1st setup mythtv (nothing to do w/ mythbox) some 
shows 
ended up in the LiveTV group?  These shows i couldn't remove and wouldn't exp, 
so i 
changed them to the default group and then i was able to del them.  After that 
they 
are gone from the mythbox list.  sorry for the run around.

2nd issue, i'll check the myth-box dirs asap
