add __cplusplus define by default to workspace defines #1432

__cplusplus define is already added for VS projects, but not if all files have the .c extension

Any chance we can get an update on that state of this issue? I'm on version 1.0.17 and still seeing this on our C++ slns imported from Visual Studio.

It is being defined, although it's hard coded to 199711L because I can't work out how to get the correct version. Could it be that your code is expecting a different version?
