It's already possible to select the Workspace Tree using the Switch File dialog, this allows navigating the tree and opening files, but in order to select one of the projects and make it the active project it's still necessary to use the mouse in order to open this dialog:
Actually, as I was writing this post, I realized I could use the context menu keyboard button (if available) in order to do this without using the mouse. Still, I think it would be nice to have a shortcut to allow selecting the active project more quickly. Simply pressing Enter is the most obvious choice, but may be too error prone. Perhaps Ctrl+Enter would be sufficiently distinct and if the shortcut was shown in the context menu option, that would be sufficiently discoverable. Maybe there's a better option that is more consistent with the rest of the UI.
