Cursor is invisbile when HDR is enabled in the display settings #2877

Seen on a win11 laptop with a HDR display.

Steps to repro:

  1. Open display settings and turn on the "Use HDR" toggle.
  2. The cursor is now invisible in 10x.

Does it still happen if you set the CursorMode setting to Block?

Yes - still happens when I set CursorMode to Block.

I should have clarified that it is the windows mouse cursor that disappears, not the cursor within 10x. When hovering over line numbers, the cursor can be seen and looks like a pointer. However when hovering over text in a file it disappears. usually it turns into a "capital I" shape.

I tired capturing a video of this with ScreentoGif but the cursor shows up in the recording! Very weird.

I see, that is weird. No idea about that.

It does seem there are issues with HDR and the mouse pointer on Windows. Does it happen for other windowed DirectX apps/games?

I also use HDR, and I've not got any issues with the cursor 🤔
